Celebrating Our 100th Anniversary
May 27th, 1920, was the day of the first convention of the Minnesota State Organization of the Blind, today known as the National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota. Since we were unable to gather in person this May 27th to mark the centennial, we found another way to honor the occasion by creating a celebratory audio review of 100 ways the organization has made a difference throughout its history. The presentation ran all day on a stream on May 27th, 2020, starting at the beginning of each half hour. The voices are those of Federationists currently living in Minnesota, as well as some who once called Minnesota home.
We celebrate our history as the foundation on which to build a brighter future for blind people everywhere! #NFBMN100Years
